We get what we focus on

When we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present, we experience heaven on earth.

If I look at others with an eye of "I wish they wouldn't do XYZ" then they seem to do MORE of XYZ, much to my horror. But when the thought of "I wish they wouldn't do XYZ" passes my mind, if I chose to let it go and say to myself, but thank goodness they do all this other great stuff, and I praise them for the good, they do more of the good.

It's all about focus. We get what we focus on, whether good or bad.
